    Welcome

    The New Road Area Community Association was formed in May 1966, to encourage and facilitate social, recreational and community activities for the then newly developed area. The Richard Newton Hall was built and opened 2 years later to provide a home for those activities.

     

    The Association is a registered charity (number 300986), is currently financially self supporting and is run by a committee of Trustees operating under a written constitution. The committee consists of member representatives from the various groups and activities using the hall, and the President, Secretary, and the Treasurer are elected at the AGM.
